Marilyn Yvonne (Patton) Burchett

Marilyn Yvonne Patton Burchett, age 88, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Ernest Graham Burchett, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Riverview Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born November 17, 1935 in Louisa, KY, a daughter of the late Samuel and Susie Kelly Patton.  She was a member of the Emma United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons; Ernest Keith Burchett and Graham Burchett, both of Prestonsburg, two daughters; Marquetia Carr, Banner and Bertha Wright, Prestosnburg, two sisters; Juanita Patton and Doris Pritchard, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter; Lana Chafin , one brother; Samuel Patton Jr. and one two sisters; Faye and Martha Jo.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, November 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Weddington Cemetery, Emma, KY, visitation is after 12 noon Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
