Margie Blackburn Obituary

 

 Margie Ann Blackburn, age 62, of  Betsy Layne, KY, widow of Glenn Michael "Mickey" Blackburn, died Thursday, August 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born August 21, 1959 in Williamson, WV a daughter of the late Bill Brown and Dixie Lee Cochran Brown, Morehead, KY. Margie was a former teacher and member of the Betsy Layne Church of Christ.

 

   Along with her mother she is survived by two daughters, Jessica Rhea Blackburn and Andrea Lynn (Brandon Scott Gross) Blackburn, all of Betsy Layne, two brothers; Alan (Kelly) Brown and Bill Steven (Cheryl) Brown, all of Morehead, KY, four sisters; Peggy Brown Conklin, Sherry (Danny) Lyons and Angela Kaye Brown, all of Morehead, Tammy (Danny) Clark, West Liberty, KY, and grandchild on the way, Rhealynn Blackburn-Gross, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

 

  In addition to her husband and father she was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Timothy Brown.

 

 Funeral service for Margie Ann Blackburn will be conducted Monday, August 22, 2022 in the Betsy Layne Church of Christ, Betsy Layne, KY. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 6 until 9 PM at the Betsy Layne Church of Christ
