Margie Akers Caplinger

Margie Akers Caplinger, age 91, of Lima, OH, formerly of Bradenton, FL, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Care Core at Lima, Lima, OH.  She was born October 1, 1934 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Carl Otto and Goldie Pearl Stiltner Akers.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son; Donnie Robinson, Jackson, OH, one daughter; Dorothy (Ronald) Coleman, Jackson, OH, three brothers; Ronnie, Bob and Carl Otto Akers Jr., two sisters; Susan Nabil and Betty Carpenter, 8 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Caplinger and one brother; Wendell Akers.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elijah Akers Cemetery, Hunts Fork, Dana, KY, visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
