Maggie (Compton) Hill

Maggie Hill, age 96 of Stanville, KY, widow of the late WT Hill, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born June 16, 1925 in Johns Creek, KY, a daughter of the late B. M. and Alifare Crider Compton.

She is survived by two daughters: Willagean Childers, Louisville, KY and Willa Dean Preston, Meally, KY; one sister: Catherine Pauline Compton of Michigan; five grandchildren: Anthony Preston, Marsha Bougardus, Tina Abundissalazar, Jennifer Csaszar and William Edward Yost. She was also survived by ten great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Maggie was preceded in death by one daughter: Carolean Newsome; one brother: Troy Compton and one sister: Irene Wallen

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Kevin Jett officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY and visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Friday at Hall Funeral Home.
