Madeline "Madge" Preston Greer, age 81 of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Dewey Greer, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Highlands ARH of Prestonsburg. She was born November 8, 1939 in Shelbiana, KY, a daughter of the late Forrest and Margaret Damron Preston. She was a member of the Allen First Baptist Church, an employee of the B.F. Casual Clothing Store and a receptionist for the late Dr. James D. Adams.

She is survived by one daughter: Margaret (John Earl) Hunt, two grandchildren; Rebekah (Brian) Hunter and John Greer (Megan) Hunt, four great grandchildren; Barrett and Brice Hunter, Brooks and Lilly Mae Hunt.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Darrell Preston and Eddie Raymond Preston.

A private family graveside service is scheduled at Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY. Burial will follow. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Allen First Baptist Church in her honor.
