Lundy Samons

Lundy Samons, age 62, of Hazard, KY, formerly of Martin, husband of Dunnie Noble Samons, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1956 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Vernon and Sadie Marie Samons.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Amanda (Willie) Crase, Garrett, KY, Raelyn Nicole Samons and Charla LaShea Dunn, both of Auxier, KY, four brothers; Ted, David, Johnny Samons, all of Martin, KY and Lawrence Samons, Garrett, KY, three sisters; Edna M Samons, MI, Rosa Lee Click, Martin, KY and Teresa Tackett, Lawrenceburg, KY, six grandchildren; Peyton and Chloe Crase, Blake, Paxton, Noah and Kinzley Dunn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Vernon Samons.

Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 24 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rock Fork Regular Baptist Church Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Samons Family Cemetery, Arkansas Creek, Martin, KY. Visitation after 6:00 PM on Saturday at Hall Funeral Home.
