Lowell Lloyd Martin

Lowell Lloyd Martin, age 84, of Langley, KY, husband of Patricia Ann Newsome Martin, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY.  He was born July 13, 1941 in Maytown, KY, son of the late Roy and Polly Osborne Martin.  He was a retired school teacher having taught 34 years in the Floyd County School System.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son; Kevin Lloyd Martin, Delaware, OH, one brother; Donn Martin, Liberty Township, OH, one sister; Joy Scheel, San Antonio, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Shannon Gibson and Quanda Hughes.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow in the Buckingham Cemetery, Bevinsville, KY, visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
