Louise Hunter (Butler) Spradlin

Louise Hunter Spradlin, age 91, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of first husband, Dow Hunter and her late second husband, Billy Spradlin, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born March 17, 1930 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Robert and Jessie Potter Butler. She was a house wife and attended the Church of God of Prophesy.

She is survived by two daughters: Patsy Hunter (Bill) Gearheart, Drift, KY, Trudy Hunter, Betsy Layne, KY, two brothers; Phillip “Sonny” (Vickie) Butler, Printer, KY, George Richard (Carol) Butler, Columbus, OH, two sisters: Peggy Martin, Columbus, OH, Barbara Bevins, Printer, KY, three grandchildren; Randy (Vanessa) Hunter, Betsy Layne, KY, Tina Louise (Kevin) Webb, Wayland, KY, Byron (Colleen) Gearheart, Lake Mary, FL, four great grandchildren; Amanda Kidd, Alex Hunter, Corey Webb, Andrew Webb, two great-great grandchildren; Kylie and Brayden Kidd.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one son: James Norman Hunter, one daughter; Brenda Sue Hunter, two brothers; Glen and Jerry Butler.

Funeral service for Mrs. Spradlin will be conducted on Wednesday, May 12 at 11:00 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Drift Cemetery, Drift, KY. Visitation is Tuesday after 6:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
