Louise (Click) Compton

Louise Click Compton, age 97, of Martin, Ky, wife of the late Charlie Compton, passed away Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020 at her residence. She was born October 3rd, 1922 in Martin, Ky, a daughter of the late Jake and Narcie Prater Click. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and she worked for the Floyd County School Board.

She is survived by one son; James Douglas Compton of Martin, Ky, one daughter; Mary Terry of Langley, Ky, two brothers; Teddy Click of Martin, Ky and Bill Click of Pierceton, IN, three sisters; Patty Taylor and Berniece Howard, both of Martin, Ky, and Rose Voiers of Deer Park, Tx, 5 grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brothers; Jackie and EJ Click, her sister; Bonnie Shepherd and her son-in-law; Clinton Terry.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1 pm in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Duff officiating. Burial will follow in the Click Cemetery in Stephens Branch of Martin, KY, visitation will be Friday, June 5 at 6 pm at Hall Funeral Home.
