Lou Edith Bailey

           Lou Edith Bailey, age 76, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Jim Bailey, died Friday, July 19, 2019 in the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg. She was born September 5, 1942 in Prestonsburg, KY a daughter of the late Ova and Lula Birchfield Jervis. Lou Edith was a homemaker and attended the Endicott Baptist Church.

          She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Scott) Hickman, Newark, OH, one sister, Mary Rose, one grandchild, Chad Jervis; five great grandchildren; Zach Jervis, Cody Jervis, Destiny Jervis, Dakota Jervis, Chad Everett Jervis Jr., and one great-great grandchild, Amber Jervis.

           In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dave Putiano, three brothers; Marvin Music, Darwin Music, Gardis Jervis, and three sisters; Laura Crider, Elsie Pinion, Beulah Jarrell, and two grandsons, Troy Gene Jervis and Richard Jervis, one great grandchild, Jacob Lee Jervis.

           A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2 PM in the Cow Creek Freewill Baptist Church, with Belvra Crider Jr. officiating.
