Linda June (May) Wilson

Linda June Wilson Obituary Linda June Wilson, 85, of Richmond, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at her home. She was born in Langley, Kentucky, the only child of Fletcher and Olivia May. Linda graduated valedictorian of Maytown High School and Morehead State University. She retired as a teacher of accounting and typing in the Floyd County School System where she touched the lives of many students. Bored of retirement, she went back to teaching at the Otter Creek Correctional Center in Wheelwright, Kentucky. 

Linda is survived by her beloved sons, Richard Anthony Turner (Teresa Thornsberry) of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Larry Wendell Wilson JR (Donna Gibson) of Richmond, KY. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Reid Turner, Olivia Turner, and Taylor Thornsberry; as well as her dear friend and chosen daughter, Beverly Likens of Martin, KY. Many cousins, friends and loved ones will cherish her memory. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her best friend, Billie J. Stegall. 

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 and continue all day on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Hall Funeral Home in Martin, KY. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024 , at 1:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest at the Davidson Memorial Gardens in Ivel, KY following the service.
