Linda Lou (Porter) Conn

Linda Lou Conn, age 78, of Allen, KY, wife of Virgil A. Conn, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at her residence.  She was born July 18, 1947 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Paul F. and Martha Kendrick Porter.  She was a member of the Allen Baptist Church, former owner and operator of Porter Industries and retired from the Floyd County Court Clerks Office.

In addition to her husband, Virgil, she is survived by two daughters; Angela Jane (Tony) Skaggs, Salyersville, KY and Michelle Lynn (Thomas) Rainey, Pikeville, KY, four grandchildren; Haley Elizabeth (Wesley) Miller, Hannah Blair (Jacob) Sparks, Madison Grace (Zachary Tackett) Rainey and Jacob Nathaniel (Aariana Sparks) Rainey, also a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; James Lacy and Paul Douglas Porter and one sister; Paula Jane Terry.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Lafferty officiating.  Burial will follow in the Grace Allen Webb Cemetery, Allen, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
