Leslie Dawn (Newsome) Ward

            Leslie Dawn Ward, age 44, of Teaberry, KY, passed away May 16, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. She was born October 17, 1979 in Pikeville, KY a daughter of Jimmy and the late Glenda Osborne Newsome. 

            Along with her father, she is survived by one daughter, Lakyn Alexis Ward, Teaberry, KY and several aunts and uncles.

            Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, May 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church, Teaberry, KY with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is after 6:00 PM Saturday and all day Sunday at the church.
