Obituary
Leigh Ann Tackett, age 77, of Teaberry, KY, wife of the late Sterling "Porky" Tackett, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born April 11, 1945 in Ligon, KY, a daughter of the late Hubert Wiley and Naomi Hall Pennington. She was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her son; Stanley Tackett, Lexington, KY, two brothers; Darrell Pennington, Cincinnati, OH and Dewey Pennington, Corunna, MI, one sister; Carmalene Hamilton, Ligon, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with Doug Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
