Larry Jerome Stumbo

Larry Jerome Stumbo, age 77, of McDowell, KY, son of the late Willie Kitt and Verdie Hall Stumbo, died Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. Larry was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired Coal Miner and former School Bus Driver for the Floyd County School System.

He is survived by three brothers, Donald Stumbo, Martin, KY, Johnny G. Stumbo, Shelbyville, KY, Carl Stumbo, McDowell, KY, one sister, Nancy S. Gibson, McDowell, KY, several nieces and nephews, and two special nephews, John (Jessica) Stumbo, Hueysville, KY, and James Scott (Kim) Stumbo, McDowell, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Klein Dean Stumbo, Paul Gordon Stumbo, and two sisters; Greta Glo Clark and Helen S. Hall.

Funeral service for Larry Jerome Stumbo will be conducted Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Omery "Chuck" Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.

Visitation is after 6 PM Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
