Larry Junior Bolen

Larry Junior Bolen, age 74, of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away Friday, October 06, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born June 18, 1949 in Handshoe, KY, a son of the late Ellis and Cosby Hicks Bolen.  He was a mechanic.

He is survived by two step children; Austin Stone, Lauren Painter, three brothers; Ronnie (Oma) Bolen, Walkerville, IN, Dixie Bolen, Garrett, IN, Roger (Tina) Bolen, Hueysville, KY, two sisters; Roseann Conley, Stroh, IN, Linda (Clark) Wireman, Hueysville, KY. He is also survived by his long time girlfriend Vickie Huff. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers; Harleyn, Orville, Hollie Ray, Dial, Edward Bolen, four sisters; Martha, Lillean, Stella Jo, and Betty Jo Bolen.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Miller and Bill Tussey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bolen Cemetery, Quicksand, Hueysville, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
