Larcie David Lewis

Larcie David Lewis, age 72, of East Point, KY, husband of Charlene Hicks Lewis, passed away on March 9, 2020 in the Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.He was born January 3, 1948 in Floyd County, KY, a son of the late Larcie H. and Pearlie Mae Miller Lewis. He was a master welder in the coal mining industry and a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife and three sons: Jerry (Rechelle) Lewis, Richmond, KY, David Lewis, Berea, KY, Jason (Amy Chipman) Lewis, Richmond, KY, one daughter; Tonya Lewis, Lexington, KY, one brother; Clyde P. (Brenda) Lewis, Prestonburg, KY and one sister; Connie Mae Roatcap, Pierceton, IN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Roger Dale Lewis.

Serving as pallbearers are his four children: Jerry, David, Tonya and Jason Lewis and his six grandchildren; Cheyenne Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Mitchell Lewis, Shawn Lewis, Jacob (Sydney) Lewis and Tyler Lewis.

Honorary pallbearers are: Ray Watkins, Danny Grim, James Meek, Danny Fairchild and John Kirk.

A family graveside service is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 5 in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY with Preston Lewis and John Lewis officiating.

A life celebration will be held and announced at a later date.
