Lana Ann (Boyd) Russell

Lana Ann Boyd Russell, age 77, of Betsy Layne, KY, wife of Stephen Nelson Russell, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at her residence.  She was born February 10, 1949 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Clifford and Winifred "Winnie" Staton Boyd.  She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons; Mark Allen Trimble and Michael Douglas Trimble, both of Lexington, KY, one brother; Clifford Douglas Boyd, Lexington, KY, one sister; Sue Brown, Paintsville, KY, two granddaughters; Brooke and Lila Grace Trimble.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter; Tamela Susan Trimble.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Betsy Layne, KY, visitation is from 12 noon until the time of service Saturday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.

Graveside service will be conducted Monday, July 20, 2026 at 12 noon at the Russell Family Cemetery, Oliver Springs, TN
