Kenny Joe Jones

Kenny Joe Jones, age 36, of Virgie, KY, husband of Amy Dawn Tackett Jones, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his residence.  He was born January 3, 1982 in Martin, KY, he was a coal miner and co-owner of Black Gold Security.

In addition to his wife; Amy, he is survived by his mother; Janice Faye Wright, Virgie, KY, father; Kenneth Jones, McDowell, KY, step father; Luke Jones, Wheelwright, KY, two sons; Kenton Tyler and Kodon Josiah Jones, Virgie, KY, two brothers; Brian (Diane) Isaac, Wheelwright, KY and Billy (Jessica) Bentley, Maytown, KY, two sisters; Kristie (Cyrus) Hess, Sidney, KY and April (Danny) Meadows, Maytown, KY, sister-in-law; Angela (Wade) Slone, Melvin, KY, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by one brother; Jeffrey Isaac.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church, Melvin, with Tivis Caudill and Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery, Golf Course Hollow, Wheelwright, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday at the church, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
