Karla Sondra Goble

Karla Sondra Goble, age 77, of Paintsville, KY, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY.  She was born January 11, 1948 in Prestonsburg, KY, a daughter of the late Dan and Pauline Campbell Goble.  She was a member of the Irene Cole Memorial Baptist Church.  

Karla began her career in customer service by working in her family's business, The Strand Theatre, Prestonsburg, KY, she went on to hold several other management positions through out her professional career.

She is survived by one son; Paul (Brianna) Reffett, Paintsville, KY, one daughter; Stephania Justice, Paintsville, KY, one brother; Dan Goble Jr., two sisters; Teressa Hutchinson and Maggie (Sonny) Bunch, one sister-in-law; Darlene Goble, four grandchildren; Kenneth (Valerie) Smiley, Kevin Smiley, Kala Jarrell and Rylan Reffett, two great grandchildren; Kenton Joshua Smiley and Zelda Bethany Mae Robinson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son; Carl David Reffett, one brother; James Dewey Goble, one sister; Patty Chareq and one grandson; Kristopher Daniel Smiley.

Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
