Karen Marie Koplau

    Karen Marie Koplau, age 73, of Minnie, KY, wife of Louis Duane Koplau, died Thursday, July 18, 2024 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1950 in Dearborn, MI a daughter of the late Edward and Antoinette Rose Marie Jowski. Karen was a retired chef and member of the Catholic Church.

  Survivors include one son, Rick ( Kandace Starkey) Koplau, Marion, NC, one daughter; Jessica Koplau, Kalispel, MT, one brother; Jim Jowski, Eldorado Hills, CA, three sisters; Susan Duryea, Nokomis, FL, Kathy Kowski, Siesta, Key, FL, Jane Studer, Creston, OH, and eight grandchildren; Jareb, Louis, Samuel, Anthony, Isabell, Sophia, Finley and Vicotria Koplau.

   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Thomas Koplau.

    A memorial service is scheduled for a later time for Karen Marie Koplau.
