Julia (Francis) Stansberry

Julia Francis Stansberry, age 82, a thirty year resident of Lexington, passed away in her home Friday, May 10, 2024. Julia was the daughter of the late Bill and Julia Francis of Garrett, KY. She was born December 29, 1941.

Julia was involved in many activities in the community and in her church, St. Luke Methodist Church.

She is survived by four brothers: Danny, Randall, Maryland, and Ernest Francis; many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of fifty one years Bobby; one loving sister and seven brothers.

A memorial service will be conducted at St. Luke Methodist Church Lexington, KY on Friday, June 14th at 11:30 AM. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday June 15th in the Davidson Memorial Garden, Ivel, KY.

In lieu of flowers, Julia requested donations be sent to the St. Luke Methodist Church 2351 Alumni Drive, Lexington, KY 40517.
