Judy Elizabeth Newman

Judy Elizabeth Newman, age 81, of Grethel, KY, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, a daughter of the late Ernest and Bertha Alley Newman. She was a school teacher and member of the KY Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by two brothers: Carmel (Dottie) Newman, Grethel, KY and Dexter Newman, Lexington, KY, one sister-in-law; Sylvania Newman, two nieces; Jennifer and Karen, four nephews; Hillard Jr., Brian, Tyler and Macauley, 3 great nieces and 7 great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Hillard Newman and one sister; Irene Newman Sherwood.

Funeral service for Ms. Newman will be conducted on Sunday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Alley Cemetery, Grethel, KY. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
