Judith (Madison) Adams

Judith Madison Adams, age 88, of Prestonsburg, KY, wife of Frank Allen Adams, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Highlands ARH Hospital in Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born March 5, 1935 in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Fred Madison and Edna Stephens Madison McBurney.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Logan, WV and a retired bookkeeper.

In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by two sons; Charles Stephen (Diana) Boyd, Lexington, KY and Harry Allen (Jamie) Adams, Prestonsburg, KY, two daughters; Jennifer (Michael L.) Brown, Staffordsville, KY and Judith Ann Adams, Prestonsburg, KY, one sister; MaryBeth Compton, Prestonsburg, KY, six grandchildren; Stephen Alexander Boyd, Katherine Madison Adams, Allison Adams Tipton, Abigail Virginia Brown, Bethan Madison Martin and Andrew Michael Brown, six great grandchildren; Ethan Boyd, Ava Boyd, Nolan Boyd, Harrison Tipton, Madilyn Tipton and Maris Patton.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Prestonsburg, KY with Tommy Poe officiating.  Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY, visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
