Juanita H. Ousley

Juanita H. Ousley, age 86, of Martin, KY, widow of Dennis Ousley, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Prestonsburg Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born August 22, 1938 in Dock, KY, a daughter of the late Carson Hackworth and Lillie Stephens Salisbury.  She was a member of the Antioch Old Regular Baptist Church and a retired mail carrier.

She is survived by four sons; Perry (Edna), Gregory (Janie) and Dennis William Ousley, all of Martin, KY and Anthony Shawn Ousley, Danville, KY, two brothers; Ronnie Hackworth, Proctorville, OH and Clarence Hackworth, Greenup, KY, two sisters; Carolyn Moran, Greenup, KY and Birdie Hackworth, San Diego, CA, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Dennis Ousley, father; Carson Hackworth, mother; Lillie Stephens Salisbury, step father; Willie Salisbury, daughter; Patricia Ann Centers and daughter-in-law; Donna Ousley.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery, Martin, KY, visitation is after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
