Johnny G. Daniels

Johnny G. Daniels, age 70, of McDowell, KY, husband of Mary Bentley Daniels, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at his residence.  He was born August 28, 1953 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of the late Cecil and Pauline Tackett Daniels.  Johnny was a disabled coal miner and a member of the UMWA.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by his daughter; Vernie Daniels, Lexington, KY, bonus children; Sam Patton and Jolean Patton, both of Morehead, KY, three sisters; Jeanette Palmer, Nashville, TN, Betty Dye, Columbus, OH and Becky Little, Lexington, KY,

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; James Daniels, two brothers; Bobby Ward and Jessie Ward, one sister; Jeanette Skeans.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Dool officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, KY, visitation is from 6 until 10 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
