John Darrell DeRossett

John Darrell DeRossett, age 53, of Eastern, KY, husband of Tressie Francis Morrison DeRossett, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY.  He was born October 30, 1968 in Kendallville, IN, a son of the late Damon Grant and Barbara Shepherd DeRossett.  He was a member of the Caney Bible Church and a truck driver for UPS.

He is survived by his wife; Tressie, three sons; Joseph Alexander and Justin Andrew DeRossett, both of Eastern, KY, Jacob Darrell (Haley) DeRossett, Pikeville, KY, two daughters; Sarah Jeanette and Annarose Jeanelle DeRossett, both of Eastern, KY, two brothers; David Grant (Gerly) DeRossett, Lexington, KY and Jeffery Dwayne (Linda) DeRossett, Evansville, IN, one sister; Alva Lynn DeRossett, Gunlock, KY and one grandson; Grayson DeRossett.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with James Ed Morrison and Bill Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
