John Paul Biliter Jr, age 72, of Prestonsburg, KY husband of Nena Snavely Biliter for 22 years, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 in Albertville, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his step-mother, Billie Sue (Hurston) Hall of Winchester, KY. He is survived by his two children, Justin (Jennifer) Biliter and Brad (Jamie) Biliter, and three grandchildren, Sarah, Silas, and Jamison Biliter all of Nicholasville, KY. He is also survived by his siblings, David (Charlene) Biliter of Davella, KY, Danny (Margie) Biliter of Richmond, KY, Sherry Brashears of Pikeville, KY, Elizabeth Conn (Rick) of Winchester, KY, Becky (Tiny) Adkins of Winchester, KY and one brother-in-law, Charles (Shari) Snavely of Huntsville, AL.
John Paul spent 33 years as a conductor for the C&O (Chessie System, CSX) railroad in Martin, KY. John Paul also had many talents including being an avid wood worker. Upon retirement, he enjoyed traveling the country with Nena and their dog in their motorhome. In his last few years, John Paul enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and being outdoors.
Due to COVID 19 risk, a private memorial service will be held in Winchester, KY on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
