Joan (Case) Spurlock

            Joan Case Spurlock, age 74 of Dana, KY, wife of Billy Eugene "Bill" Spurlock, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born January 29, 1952 in Honaker, KY, a daughter of the late Mildred Adkins and the late Elba "Elby" Case. She was a home maker, care taker, wife, mother, granny, "Ninny", sister, aunt and friend.

            Along with her husband, she is survived by one son: Billy Randall (Stephanie) Spurlock, Dana, KY; one daughter: Stacey Lea (Russell) Kidd, Dana, KY; four brothers: Eddie (Mona) Case, Dana, KY, Walter (Patty) Case, Harold, KY, Kenneth (Jeannie) Case, Dana, KY and Jeff (Michelle) Case, Mullins, KY; one sister: Debra (Wayne) Eminger, Prestonsburg, KY; five grandchildren: Kayela (Justin) Tackett, Pikeville, KY, Benjamin Randall Spurlock, Andrew Mattix, Cassidy Elizabeth and Emma Kate Kidd all of Dana, KY; two great grandchildren: Khloe and Tatum Tackett.

            In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by one brother: Wade Case.

            Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Barry Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Cas Spurlock Cemetery, Printer, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
