Jimmy Ray Wilhite

  Jimmy Ray Wilhite, age 65, of Beaver, KY, husband of Sandy Newsome Wilhite, died Monday, August 12, 2024 in the McDowell Appalachian Regional Hospital, McDowell, KY. He was born April 7, 1959 in Williamson, WV  a son of the late Howard and Edith Reynolds Wilhite. Jimmy worked as a mechanic.

  In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Jimmy Douglas (Tiffany) Wilhite and Jonathan Ray Wilhite, all of Beaver, KY, one daughter; Latitia Marie Huff (Jeremy), McDowell, KY, six sisters; Virginia Childers, Bellevue, OH, Ilene (Steve) Lewis, TN, Glenna Simpson (Cecil Newman) Banner, KY, Brenda Tackett, Galveston, KY, Gail (Tracy) Stumbo, McDowell, KY, Debbie Hall, Beaver, KY, seven grandchildren; Savannah Huff, Jeremy Austin Huff, Dustin Huff, Destiny Wilhite, Makayla Wilhite, Mackenzie Wilhite, Hannah Smith, and six great grandchildren; Chance Johnson, Landon King, Noah Huff, Lucas Dingus, Makiyah Huff and Sophie Dingus.

  Funeral service for Jimmy Ray Wilhite will be conducted Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 1 PM in the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Hi Hat, KY, with James Tackett and Jeremy Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe Reynolds Cemetery, Beaver, KY. Visitation is after 5 PM Tuesday and after 10 AM Wednesday at the church.
