Jimmy Mitchell

Jimmy Mitchell, age 76, of Teaberry, KY, husband of Loretta Hall Mitchell, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 at his residence.  He was born November 6, 1949 in Beaver, KY, a son of the late Carl and Fostella Jones Mitchell.  He was a retired coal operator.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son; David M. (Lynn) Mitchell, Teaberry, KY, one brother; Gary D. (Alva) Mitchell, Teaberry, KY, two sisters; Donna L. Rice and Sharon K. Hamilton, both of Teaberry, KY, three grandchildren; Lance Rustin (Samantha) Mitchell, Kylee (JD) Miller and Kade (Haley) Mitchell, one great grandchild; Johnny Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law; Dean Hamilton and Gary Rice.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 1 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Moe officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is from 4 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
