Jerry J. Martin, age 78, of Grethel, KY husband of Linda Vanhoose Martin, died Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of the late Arthur Martin Sr., and Lexie Moore Martin. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the John. W. Hall Masonic Lodge No. 950.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons; Jerry J. Martin Jr. of Louisville, KY, and Brian S. Martin of Lexington, KY. Two brothers; Arthur Martin Jr. of Ashland, KY, Ralph Martin, Grethel, KY, One sister Peggy Sellards of Corbin, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Henry Jackson Martin.
Funeral service for Jerry Jay Martin will be conducted Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, with Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements. Visitation is 5:00 until 9:00 PM Sunday, June 26, 2022 and Monday June 27, 2022 from 11:00 until 9:00 PM with a Masonic Service, Monday at 7:00 PM.
