Jerry Neil Conley age 70, of North Judson, Indiana, entered his heavenly home at 6:40am Monday, March 15, 2021. He was born in Lackey, Kentucky on December 8, 1950 to the late Wilma Jean (Caudill) and Jay Conley, Jr.
On August 12, 1969 in Paintsville, Kentucky he married Patricia Ann (Martin, aka Gibson) Conley who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Daphne Shawn Conley of North Judson, Indiana, his son, Clayton Neil Conley of Plymouth, Indiana, his granddaughter, Jessica Paige (Jason) Dunlap of Plymouth, Indiana, and two great-grandchildren, Alyviah Kimberly Dunlap and Ezra Alexander James Dunlap. Also, his brother Johnny (Dawn) Conley of North Judson, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his twin daughters Heather Dawn and Angela Marie Conley.
He was a graduate of Hindman High School, Hindman, Kentucky class of 1968, and Prairie State College. He retired from Ford Motor Company, Chicago Heights, Illinois after 30 years where he was an automated pipe fitter. After retiring from Ford's he went to work as a part-time mail carrier for the United States Post Office. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball and Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan. He loved to bowl and play poker. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit.
Graveside services will take place on Friday March 19, 2021 at 1pm eastern time at the Lackey Cemetery, Lackey, Kentucky with Robert Michael Sexton officiating. Under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers his wish was to have contributions made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
