Jenita (Akers) Boyd

            Jenita Boyd, age 49 of East Point, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in the Highlands Appalachian Regional Hospital, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born January 29, 1973 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of Regina Conn and the late Jimmy Lee Akers. She was a Jehovah's Witness.

            Along with her mother, she is survived by one daughter: Madison Boyd, East Point, KY; one brother: Jame (Jamie) Akers, Prestonsburg, KY; her brother at heart: Craig Samons, Dana, KY; maternal grandfather: Hubert Conn, Dana, KY; her best friend: Gloria Workman, Inez, KY; three nieces: Paige, Kristian, Angel and one great nephew: Grayson. And a sister at heart Helena Mae, Prestonsburg, Ky

            In addition to her father, Jenita was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Mae Conn.

            A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Ron Fitzsimmons officiating. A memorial visitation will take place from 12 noon until time of service at Hall Funeral Home.
