Obituary
Jeffery Samons, age 62, of Martin, KY, husband of Beverley Chaffins Samons, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 22, 1959, in Martin, KY, a son of Marie Jones Samons, Martin, KY and the late John B. Samons. He was a retired school teacher.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son; Jeffery Bret Samons, Martin, KY, step daughter; Whitney (Seth) Slone, Pippa Passes, KY, one brother; Terry Samons, Sevierville, TN, three sisters; Linda (Walter) Bartrum, Martin, KY, Donna (John) Bartrum, Eastern, KY and Melissa (Matt) Martin, Martin, KY, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Blueberry Hill Cemetery, Arkansas Creek, Martin, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
