Jeanette (Johnson) Shepherd

Jeanette Shepherd, age 68, of Blue River, KY, widow of Quillen Shepherd, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born August 12, 1956 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Willie "Bill" and Anna Caudill Johnson.  She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by one son; Kenneth Ray (Andrea) Little, Prestonsburg, KY, four daughters; Kimberly Ann Cummings, Prestonsburg, KY, Amanda (Ronnie) Samons, Martin, KY, Jennie Sue (Billy) Slone, Garrett, KY and Candy (Robert) Lafferty, Blue River, five brothers; Virgil, Johnny, Dennis, Ronald and Willie Johnson Jr., one sister; Angela Helton, 17 grandchildren; Cody Michele Jones, Kimberly Marie Jones, Christy Leann Jones, Tim Jones Kr., Keisha Ann Little, Tamera Lynn Ousley, Partick Rodney Tuttle, Anna Grace Tuttle, Johnathan Quillen Shepherd, Izabella Shepherd, Coalton Kilburn, Angel Kilburn, Alex Samons, Ronnie Samons Jr., James Samons, Lauren Lefevers and Josh Ousley, 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother; Martin Eli Johnson.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Samons officiating.  Burial will follow in the Quillen Shepherd Family Cemetery, Blue River, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
