Janny (Flanery) Hackworth

Janny Flanery Hackworth, age 76, of Martin, KY, wife of Bob Hackworth, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at her residence.  She was born May 11, 1946, in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Merlin Sr. and Orleen Castle Flanery.  She was a member of the Drift Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, Bob, she is survived by one daughter; Shellie (Bradford) Blair, Lowmansville, KY, one brother; Tim Flanery, one sister; Merleen Combs of Perry County, KY, three grandchildren; Chris Blair, Seth Blair and Leann Hackworth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Bob Hackworth Jr. and one brother; Merlin Flanery Jr.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Hisle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Martin Community Cemetery, Martin, KY.  Visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
