Janis Ray Napier

Janis Ray Napier, age 78, of Martin, KY, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 in Martin, KY.  She was born April 19, 1944 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late J.N. and Edith Wheeler Napier.  She was affiliated with the Bonanza Freewill Baptist Church and a retired LPN.

She is survived by one brother; Jimmy Napier, Daytona, FL, three sisters; Lucille Skaggs, Betty Music and Corene Marcum, all of Martin, KY.  A special nephew, Terry Spurlock, also a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter; Kathy Rose Napier, four brothers; Wallace Napier, Norman Napier Jr., Pete Collins and Freddie Collins, two sisters; Delores Ann Spurlock and Mable Bachelor.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery, Martin, KY, visitation is after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
