Jane R (Gibson) Brock

Jane R. Brock, age 61, of Langley, KY, widow of Cecil Brock, passed away on Wednesday, march 3, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1960 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Russell and Alice Eva Thornsbury Gibson. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a food service worker.

She is survived by two daughters: Melissa Janelle (Darrell) Ratliff and Misty Dawn (Jeff Case) Howell, all of Pikeville, KY, two brothers; David Gibson and Lanny (Bridgette) Gibson, all of Langley, KY, five sisters; Gloria (Ralph) Marcum, Greenup, Co. KY, Libby (Larry) Easterling, Morgan Co., KY, Patty (Mike) Fitzpatrick, Garrett, KY, Tammy Lafferty, Langley, KY and Jenny (Mike) Taylor, Prestonsburg, KY, five grandchildren; Lindsey “Cody” Begley, Russell Kaleb Ratliff, Hannah Jo Howell, Cheyenne Mekyla Howell and Madison Dean Case and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Randy Gibson and two sisters; Vicky Lynn Gibson and Alta Jean Chapman.

Funeral service for Jane Brock will be conducted on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Gibson Family Cemetery, Langley, KY. Visitation is 5:00 – 10:00 pm Saturday at Hall Funeral Home.
