James (Jim P.) Shepherd

James P. Shepherd, age 79, of Warsaw, IN, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1943 in David, KY a son of the late Dewey "Fiddlin Dewey" Shepherd and Margaret Patrick Shepherd. He was a retired stacker tech. for RR Donnelley& Sons Printing Company, Warsaw, IN.

 He is survived by his significant other; Donna Shepherd, one daughter; Brandie Waddles, David, KY, one son; Nicholas (Heather) Shepherd, Warsaw, IN, two brothers; Bill Thomas Shepherd, Earl Shepherd, four sisters; Ethel Howard, Thelma Joseph, Linda Pitts, Gail Musgrave-Powell, eight grandchildren; Gabrielle, Bryce, Landon, Aubrey, Savannah, Addison. Mason, Brooklyn, he is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by three sons; Travis Shepherd, Jackie Brown, Jamie Tayler, five brothers; Kenneth Ray Shepherd, Melvin Shepherd, Bert Shepherd, Martin Shepherd Jr., O.C. Shepherd, three sisters; Edith Shepherd, Marie Shepherd, Baby Shepherd, one grandchild; Jacob.

 Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Ellis Stevens, Wiley Nelson & Taulbee Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Shepherd Cemetery, Open Fork, David, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home.
