James Paul Hunter

James Paul Hunter, age 69, of Wayland, KY, husband of Patricia Hunter, died on Monday, November 15,2021, at ARH in Hazard, KY. He was born July 13,1952 in Detroit, MI, son of Wilma Cooley Hunter Spears, East Point, KY and the late Paul Hunter.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Hunter, and one daughter; Jennifer Fay Patton and son in law Jack A Patton. And he was survived by one sister; Rita Hunter Scaberry, he was also survived by several nieces; Angel Knox, Paula Henson, Jaylee Silva, Kyrie Kimbler, Chrystal Hunter, Angela Hunter, Angelia Craft, Ryleigh Garry, Felicity Garry. And also several nephews; Darron Kimbler, Brian K.Tackett, AAron Kimbler, Jacob Henson, Justin Henson, Chance D.Kimbler, Journey Hunter, Allen Garry, Jaden Tackett, Jermiah Tackett, Little George Goslin, James Goslin, and Christopher Garry. And also three grandchildren; Michael Robert, James M. Hunter, Susan Trisha Patton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one nephew; Jordan Tackett.

He was a member of the Zion Deliverance Church in Wayland, KY, and also a member of the Wayland Volunteer Fire Department.

Funeral services for James Paul Hunter will be conducted Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Patricia Crider officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery, East Point, KY, visitation will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 11:00 AM till time of service.
