James Alan Lewis

James Alan Lewis, age 59, of Banner, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, OH.  He was born January 19, 1967 in Martin, KY, a son of the late James Lincoln and Dixie Lewis.

He is survived by two brothers; Norman Lewis, Paintsville, KY and Tony Robert (Kim) Lewis, Sheridan, IL, seven sisters; Jessie Lewis, Banner, KY, Rebecca Kay Lewis, Hazel Green, KY, Debra Conn, Banner, KY, Berthy Mae Yearout, Stanville, KY, Margie Lewis, Ivel, KY, Carolyn (Hubert) Goble, Banner, KY and Patsy Lewis, Pikeville, KY, two nephews who he spent a lot of time with; Corey Michael and Aaron Jacob Tanner, along with several other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister; Sherry Ann Poston.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the James and Rudolph Lewis Family Cemetery, Daniels Creek, Banner, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
