Jackie L. Howard

Jackie L. Howard, age 65. of  Hueysville, KY, husband of  Peggy Kathryn Lewis Howard, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 in the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, KY. He was born January 9, 1956 in Johnson County, KY a son of the late Ollie "Jack" and Nora Ellen Coburn Howard. Jackie was a retired heavy equipment operator, working primarily in the coal industry.

      In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Corey Howard, London, KY, three daughters; Stephanie Kidd, Vest, KY, Stacy (Commodore) Jacobs, Pippa Passes, KY, Sabrina Howard, Martin, KY, one brother; Bryan Howard, Hazard, KY, three sisters; Edith Bolen, Ft. Wayne, IN, Glenda Howard, Versailles, KY, Lenora (Larry) Chaffin, Paintsville, KY, and six grandchildren; Kierra Kidd, Xavier Kidd, Dalton and Preston Shepherd, R J Mullins and Kaiden Slone.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Lolita Zimmerman Howard, one son; Jackie Howard Jr., and one sister; Kathleen Whitaker Wireman.

    Funeral service for Jackie L. Howard will be conducted Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Dolvin Ratliff and Stanley Bolden officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery, Hueysville. Visitation is after 6 PM Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
