Irene (Davis) Stephens

Irene Stephens, age 95, of Allen, KY, widow of Clarence Stephens, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born January 15, 1927 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Mansford and Vina Webb Davis.  She was a member of the Allen Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons; Clarence G. "Buddy" Stephens, Garden City, MI, Anthony Odell Stephens, Ivel, KY and Mark D. Stephens, Allen, KY, three daughters' Charlotte Stumbo, Allen, KY, Sandra Irene Isaacs, Banner, KY and Lorita Jeanette Cassel, Hamilton, GA, two brothers, Clarence Davis and William Davis, both of Prestonsburg, KY, two sisters; Loretta Henderson, Newark, OH and Phoebe Sowards, Ypsilanti, MI, eleven grandchildren; Angie McDonald, Tracy Towels, Pamela Foster, Monica Stephens, Steven Cassel, Ronnie Harrell, Jimmy Willis, Dennis Willis, Jesse Lee Isaacs, James Isaacs and Loren Anthony Stephens and a host of great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by eight brothers; Eugene, Elmer, Johnny, Howard, Harold, Richard, Delbert and Taulbee Davis, two sisters; Ernestine Clay and Mary Ruth Clay, one grandson; Tim Willis.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Arnold Turner Jr., officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is from 6 until 10 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
