Homer Bentley

Homer Bentley, age 83 of Lackey, KY, husband of Lida Slone Bentley, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital, Mt. Vernon, KY. He was born January 16, 1937 in Lackey, KY, a son of the late Arthur and Clara Turner Bentley. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the General Motors Corporation.

In addition to his wife, Lida, he is survived by one son: Kenneth Ray Bentley, one daughter; Chrystal Michelle Bentley, both of Lackey, KY, two brothers; Charles Bentley, Elyria, OH and Don Bentley, Brooke Park, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Ed and Boone Bentley, four sisters; Helen Hall, Virginia Bates, Joyce Wireman, Shirley Dennis and one grandchild; Homer Kenneth Ray Bentley.

Funeral service for Mr. Bentley will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7 in the Hall Funeral Home chapel with Wendell Crager officiating. Burial will follow in the Lackey Cemetery, Lackey, KY. Visitation is after 6:00 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
