Herbert Kingsley Dingus

Herbert Kingsley Dingus, age 94 , of Martin, KY, husband of Bessie Barnett Dingus, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY.  He was born November 26, 1930 in Hite, KY, a son of the late Russell and Anna Osborne Dingus.  He was a retired coal miner and an Air Force Veteran.

In addition to his wife, Bessie, he is survived by one brother; Hobert Paul Dingus, Columbus, OH , one sister; June (Harold “Bud”) White, Columbus, OH, several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Fred and Marvin Dingus.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Tackett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery, Martin, KY, visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
