Henrietta Hicks

Henrietta May Hicks, age 86, of Langley, KY, wife of  Ermal "Toby" Hicks, died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. She was born September 25, 1936 in Martin, KY a daughter of the late Henry Borders and Pauline Begley May. Henrietta was a homemaker and member of the Maytown First Baptist Church, Maytown, KY.

   She is survived by three sons, Jan (Kim) Hicks and Dennis Hicks, all of Langley, Toby (Sandy) Randal Hicks, Ashland, KY, five grandchildren; Henry David Hicks, Jan Michael Hicks, Randa Moorman, Toby Randall Hicks II, Joshua Thomas Hicks, and seven great grandchildren.

  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Francis May.

   Funeral service for Henrietta May Hicks will be conducted Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Bob Varney officiating. Burial will follow in the May Family Cemetery, Martin, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements. Visitation is from 6 until 9 PM Friday at Hall Funeral Home.
