Greg Allen

Gregory "Greg" Allen, age 69, of Hueysville, KY, husband of Caryol Shepherd Allen, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026 at ARH Our Lady of the Way, Martin ,KY.  He was born December 31, 1956 at Beaver Valley Hospital, Martin, KY, to Billy and Maggie Prater Allen of Hueysville, KY. 

Greg worked for S & H manufacturing for many years, then went on to work at least 14 years in underground deep mines as a mechanic repairman.  Greg received salvation on June 19, 2026.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one son; Gregory Neil Allen, Hueysville, KY, one sister; Gwen (Mike) Howard, Hueysville, KY, one brother; Steve Allen, Prestonsburg, KY, , one niece; Kristi (Jarrad) Hagans and great niece; Jaycee Hagans, all of Hueysville, KY, two sisters-in-law; Lynn Fletcher; Hueysville, KY and Anna (Ricky) Caldwell, Salyersville, KY.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow in the Claude Prater Cemetery, Prater Fork, Hueysville, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
