Gorman Stephens

Gorman Stephens, age 79, formerly of Floyd County, husband of the late Georgia June Coleman Stephens, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born June 27, 1945 in Lackey, KY, a son of the late Millard and Gypsy Wicker.  He was a member of the VFW.

He is survived by one daughter; Misty (David) Moore, Lexington, KY, two grandchildren; Dontae Moore, Brennen Moore.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Danny Stephens, Clayborn Stephens, three sisters; Dranna Sue Click, Carol Ann Rowland, Fannie Stephens.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice Cemetery, Chloe Creek, Pikeville, KY, visitation is from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday June 29, 2024 at the funeral home, under directions of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
