Glenn Shepherd

        Glenn Shepherd, age 75 of Hueysville, KY, husband of Loretta Bailey Shepherd, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at the McDowell Appalachian Regional Hospital, McDowell, KY. He was born December 26, 1944 in Magoffin County a son of the late Harlan and Kate Neeley Shepherd.

        Along with his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Glynetta (Tony) Vogt, Johnson City, TN & Valerie (Josh) Crum, Harold, KY; three brothers: Chandler (Ilet) Shepherd, Jay Shepherd & Delmer (Lois) Shepherd; three sisters: Charity Shepherd, Melvia Shepherd & Bobbie (Bob) Boyd; three grandchildren: Callie Hall, Caden Hall, & Carl Vogt and a host of nieces and nephews.

        In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by one brother: Farley Shepherd; two sisters: Rose Whitaker & Fredia Alton.

      Visitation will be at Hall Funeral Home after 5:00 pm Sunday with singing at 6:00 pm and all day Monday with church service at 6:00 pm with Bud Crum officiating. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 12 Noon at the Brushy Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Gunlock, KY with Ollie Watts officiating with burial to follow in the Kate Shepherd Cemetery, Gunlock, KY.
